Riding Revelation

It's often said that the most important muscle in sports is the one between your ears and when you think about it, it is most certainly true with Horse Riders.

As horse riders, we will spend hundreds of £'s on tack, physios, feed, supplements, and vets to keep our horses in the best possible condition.

But how time much do we spend on ourselves? We attend valuable clinics, see physios, and have lessons with instructors and mentors with the aim of being the best riders we can be. But how much time do we spend working on our brain - that muscle between our ears ?

How often are you told 'that was your fault.. the horse was fine' or 'the horse can feel your nerves' or 'You weren't committed to that' - when heading towards a fence ? Horses are incredibly tuned into us and can 'sense' when we nervous, anxious or uncomfortable... and it transmits to them.

So how can you get your 'rider brain' in the best shape possible? Work with a professional who specialises in both conscious and sub-conscious thinking, you'll be amazed at the difference it can make to you and your horse.
