My first radio interview!

ree

I was so pleased to be invited for my first radio interview on Radio Odstock this week. I was somewhat nervous beforehand and asked for a list of questions I might be asked... I spent time preparing my answers and felt I was ready. Kevin Lawrence was the host, he was very friendly and made me feel at home. When the red light came on we were live... I had my notes so felt more confident. That's until Kevin asked me the first question which wasn't on my list.. l felt like a 'rabbit in the headlights' but there was nowhere to hide. His warm smile encouraged me and I 'let go' of my 'safety blanket' notes and and embraced the adventure. Once we got going my brain kicked in and I realised there were no right, or wrong, answers, but just the ones that came to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it's given me the confidence to work on some podcasts. If you would like to listen to the interview (its about 30 mins long) click below:
