Damaging Distortions


 How often does something happen and the more you think about it the bigger the issue becomes? Before long it occupies the mind until it’s hard to think of anything else, causing stress and anxiety.  If you recognise this pattern, in yourself, you’re not alone.  Most people at some point in their lives will be affected by it.  It’s also known as cognitive distortion. Irrational thought patterns can negatively impact our mental health and perception of reality.  Talking to someone can help to get these thoughts back into perspective, reducing the distortion in our minds, and lowering stress and anxiety.
